I'm Brandon. I'm 20 and a college student at The College of New Jersey. I'm currently a Spanish Secondary Education major and Linguistics minor, but I am debating just designing my own Spanish Linguistics major. I'll be blunt, I really hate learning about culture and literature. But linguistics own me. I have other interests too, of course, check the links page for sites that I frequent or am addicted to. My dream is to be a polyglot - speak oodles of languages. I obviously speak Spanish (pretty well), and I have also studied French (I still am), German, Italian, Japanese, and Icelandic (still trying!). Still fluent only in English, heh. Conlangs (constructed languages) are a big hobby for me, and aside from be incredibly geeky, I think that they are pretty damn entertaining. Even better when you have a friend or two who speaks a conlang - adds a whole new level of confusion for someone trying to eavesdrop. |
